LMX100 Ground Penetrating Radar
LMX100 Ground Penetrating Radar adds extra functionality to the locator’s toolkit and provides a more comprehensive view of the subsurface infrastructure. It also provides the ideal ratio of high resolution and depth penetration for precise location, all with a straightforward, user-friendly interface.
LMX100 Ground Penetrating Radar system has the advantage of detecting:
Metallic and non-metallic utilities
Utilities with broken tracer wires
Undocumented utilities
Trenches and disturbed soil often associated with utility burial
Unexpected obstacles or buried structures such as old foundations that can cause problems for excavations or construction
GPS is built into the LMX100 as standard equipment. GoogleTM EarthTM can be used to access files, providing the exact location of completed surveys that have been saved as well as the opportunity to see screenshots that have been captured.
USB and built-in WiFi for data transfer
Using the on-board Wi-Fi, a neighboring wireless network, or the user’s smartphone in hotspot mode, mini projects with images and a table summarizing the gathered data can be shared right away to clients or colleagues. Users of the Enhancement system can also export screenshots and data to a USB stick for computer or archive system transfer.
With the touch screen functionality of the high resolution Display Unit, the user can highlight features of interest on the screen by drawing arrows. To perform a soil calibration, all you have to do is drag a Soil Cal hyperbola to lay over an actual hyperbola that you can see from the ground, then match the shape.
