Helios III

Helios III is the latest, upgraded Q-switch Nd:Yag laser from Laseroptek. Helios III is able to selectively destroy melanin deep inside the dermis to effectively treat severe pigmentation such as ABNOM (Acquired Bilateral Nevus- Of- Ota like Macule), freckles, and blemishes from trauma or acne without damaging tissues by shortening laser exposure on the skin.

Laser toning is a simple procedure that results in skin rejuvenation, It evens out skin colour and brings out the brightness and fairness. It also stimulates fibroblasts that generate collagen, thus able to shrink pores and reduce wrinkles.

Laser toning has no down time and patient can have the procedure and get back to whatever they are doing.

The Helios III allows the configuration of different handpieces depending on the required size of the treatment area and laser wavelength.

FOUR HANDPIECES

General laser toning uses only two modes at a single wavelength and depending on the depth of the pigment, may take too long to treat some patients.

The Helios III used 4G toning which incorporates four modes at two wavelengths that can effectively treat pigment settled at a variety of depths.

1st G-Black Toning

Treats pigmentation settled between the epidermis and dermis layers using a general laser toning method.

2nd G-Blue Toning

Treats pigmentation settled deeper between the epidermis and dermis layers using a general laser toning method.

3rd G-Red Toning

Treats pigmentation in the deep dermal layer using the fractional mode, a less painful treatment.

4th G-Green Toning

Treats pigmentation settled in the epidermal layer using the fractional mode, with less side effects.
